Arm Balance & Inversion Workshop

Each week, we’ll break down a different pose in detail, with an emphasis on proper technique, strength-building drills, and mindful alignment. You’ll learn to work with your body — not against it — using props, modifications, and step-by-step progressions to make these postures accessible and empowering for all levels.

  • Crow Pose (Bakasana)
  • One-Legged Crow (Eka Pada Bakasana)
  • Headstand (Sirsasana)
  • Shoulderstand (Sarvangasana)

Expect a supportive environment, space to ask questions, and plenty of time to play, fall, laugh, and try again.

Kirtan & Yoga Wisdom Workshop (FREE!)

Join us for an evening of musical mantra meditation and yoga wisdom to enlighten and uplift. This is a free event open to the Kula community. Spaces are limited – please reserve your spot online. Everyone is welcome!

Mother’s Day Workshop: Live Harp Music & Meditation

 

Celebrate mothers and the essence of motherhood in all its forms with a serene meditation experience, enhanced by the soothing melodies of live harp music. This unique workshop blends mindfulness practices with ethereal harp compositions, creating a tranquil space for relaxation, self-reflection, and connection

Jonny Belinko has over 20 years of experience teaching yoga, meditation, and facilitating workshops. With training in India, Canada, and Taiwan, Jonny’s approach emphasizes mindfulness, focus, and overall well-being in daily life.

Heba Mostafa has been playing the harp since 2002, blending therapeutic, traditional, and improvisational styles. She is also an architectural historian, university professor, and author who incorporates mindfulness into her creative and teaching practices

Yoga Nidra Workshop: The Art of Conscious Relaxing *Postponed until autumn

Yoga Nidra is a practice that teaches us how to relax with conscious awareness, so one can truly feel the nature of deep relaxation.

 
In this workshop Patricia will share with you what Yoga Nidra really is and how we benefit from it both physically and psychologically. 
 
You will learn:
– What is Yoga Nidra?
– What school of yoga gave birth to it?
– What is Tantra and how does Yoga Nidra relate?
– What are the 3 fold tensions? 
– Why do we practice it?
– When to practice it? 
There will also be an opportunity to discuss this fascinating practice and discuss any questions as a group. There will be journal prompts, a 45 minute practice will follow the discussion, a pdf will be provided for your reading pleasure and a 60 minute Yoga Nidra mp3 practice recorded by Patricia to take home. Bring a pen, notepad/journal, eye pillows, wear warm clothes, socks, blankets. Anything that will make you feel comfortable to relax and discover the fascinating world of Yoga Nidra.
