Located in the heart of Toronto’s Annex, Kula Yoga is an independent studio offering daily classes including Hot Yoga, Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Pilates, Meditation, Ashtanga, Beginner Yoga, and Yoga Teacher Training.

Whether you’re stepping onto a yoga mat for the first time or have been practicing for years, our goal is simple: to create a welcoming space where everyone feels they belong.

More Than a Yoga Studio

Kula means “community.”

Since opening our doors, we’ve been committed to creating a space where students know one another by name, teachers genuinely care about their students, and everyone from complete beginners to experienced practitioners feels welcome.

Unlike large fitness chains, we’re an independently owned studio built around meaningful relationships and a love of yoga. Many of our students have been practicing with us for years, and new students quickly become part of the community.

Yoga Teacher Training

Interested in becoming a yoga teacher or deepening your personal practice?

Our 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training combines traditional yogic philosophy with modern anatomy, intelligent sequencing, and practical teaching experience. Led by experienced teachers in a supportive learning environment, our program prepares graduates to teach with confidence while developing their own lifelong practice.

Our Restorative Yoga Teacher Training is designed for yoga teachers and dedicated students who want to deepen their understanding of the art of rest. Explore the principles of restorative yoga, skillful use of props, nervous system regulation, and the creation of deeply supportive practices in a welcoming, hands-on learning environment.

 Kula offers both in-studio and online yoga, pilates, & meditation classes. This is a great way to become acquainted with the instructions and their community, while experiencing the benefits of practicing yoga.

All students are eligible to try our 30 Day UNLIMITED Intro Special once. Take as many classes as you want, both in studio or online, for 30 days straight.

Online Classes

Kula Annex offers Yoga classes of various levels and styles, all designed for home practice, with little to no props (except for Restorative/Yin: 2 pillows and a blanket). Our teachers each offer something valuable and unique to the practice of Yoga. Our classes emphasise alignment, as teachers poetically weave postures and intention together to promote healing and integration in body, mind, and soul. We promote a non-judgemental space where folks can move however they feel comfortable; we are here to support your journey to joy! We offer both online and in studio classes. Please sign up at least 60 minutes before class, and you’ll receive the zoom link roughly 10 minutes before the start of class. Search “Kula” in your inbox if you can’t find the email.
